Anybody knows about the new twin scroll VF 37?
I read at Scoobysport.com and elsewhere about the upcoming twin-scrol IHI VF 37. Does anybody have any info to throw in?
It's a similar type of turbine that the US-spec EVO has on. The spool up is excellent...

Car Info: 1993/2000/2001 GF4 mostly red
It is on the JDM Legacy. It should bolt up to a WRX, but I can't guarantee it. If so, it would be an excellent turbo. Probably not a whole lot more top end power than the stock WRX turbo, but definitely better low end, if you have a way to manage it. I'm not sure if the scroll is controlled mechanically or via ECU.

IIRC the vf37 is the stock turbo of the JDM 03 STI. The manifold,uppipe design is different from our design. The 1-3 and 2-4 cyclinder exhaust are kept separate from each other all the way up into the turbo.
the twin-scrolling is just a function of the turbo hot-side inlet.
