This is the SECOND one I have had... this is my problem. I am so frustrated it's not funny. I bought the HKS turbo timer harness for this because it's the same plug.. I disconnected the BLUE connector under neither the steering wheel and plugged the harness in... when I don't have this plugged in my car does not start... When I have the harness in I can turn my car on... So far so good!
Now I plugged the harness into the turbo timer.. I just wanted to SEE a diplay on it... when I turn my car to accessories, NOTHING... I get no display from this unit! This is the second one... The first one did the SAME EXACT thing but that time I had all the wires plugged in.. IE to the ECU and parking brake....
Anyone that has this turbo timer what am I doing wrong... Should I at least get SOMTHING or ANYTHING on the display when I turn the car on and it's only plugged into the harness??? I checked the harness and it's getting power to it... I checked it with my mulitmeter...
I am so angry, I don't know what is wrong. I am ready to throw this up against the wall.
Thank you,
-Nigel

I have the same timer and the same harness. I didn't hook up the A/F feature since I read about all the problems and just too damn lazy. So I just grounded the blk wire and the unit came to life.
When timer goes, I can lock the car but the alarm isn't activated. Could this be due to the fact that I didn't run a jumper from alarm module to parking brake wire? I really never use the timer, only when the car is driven really hard.
good lock with the timer, maybe someone can answer both our questions.

Is it not turning on because I did NOT ground it yet... from looking at the harness there is no ground spot on it... just the ig1 ig2, and 12v.... This is the only thing that I can think of now... but if that doesn't work i am at a loss....
Thanks,

It is now working!
What happened was at scoobymods, he had the directions crossed as to the wires, we figured it out and I believe he changed it.
The red wire with the green strip is the GROUND and the white wire is the sensor! So white to white, and black to red/green wire.
It's all good now!
w00t w00t!
