From what I've read, it's a good device to have. You get to load maps whenever you want and you only have to flash your ecu once. It only comes with ten maps loaded I believe, but you can always get maps online to fit the mods that you have on your car.

Get it, you'll love it. You won't notice much at first, but after a few days of driving it and allowing the ECU to use its learning ability to compensate for the new settings, you'll definitely start noticing the power! Best part is whenever you have to take it to the dealership for service, you can convert everything back to stock within a few minutes. Just check out the cobbtuning.com website for everything else you'd like to know about it. I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and think every penny spent was worth it

If you dont want to go "hard core" tuning and you just want to run some basic maps that will get you good HP Accesport is great. If you want to squeeze the most out of your engine id get it tuned on a dyno or a road tune.

Another great thing is that Cobb should be coming out soon with the AccessTuner that will allow you or your tuner to custom tune your own maps. They are saying next month, but it'll probably be more like June or July before they release it since they are so bogged down with AccessPort orders.

If anyone is looking to get one, don't order it directly from Cobb, or you're going to be looking at 4-6 weeks before you get yours. Get ahold of some of the dealers and see if they have any in stock. I called up Cobb and they said if I wanted to get one quick, to check out their dealers. So I called some of the places they had on their website and hotsubaru.com in dallas had just got an order in and had one left, so I bought it right then and there and got it within a couple of days  I know there are till a lot of people out there that are still waiting for theirs and they ordered it in February!

So with Access Tuner -- will people be able to email their personally tuned maps to other people with Accessport?
Are there going to be thousands of different maps one could load into accessport?
Sorry if this is a stupid or already answered question. I am too lazy to hit the search button.
