Car Info: Turncoat Turbo
1. Buy 2.2k ohm 1/4-1/2 watt resistor
2. Locate uppipe
3. Locate sensor (EGT) in uppipe
4. Remove connector from EGT sensor
5. Place leads from resistor in sockets in connector.
6. Tape in place/do what you can to waterproof connections.
7. Either disconnect battery/use OBDII scanner to reset codes/or go through 3-4 drive cycles to extinguish MIL.

Voila...

... I wouldn't say "it's always needed" after installing an aftermarket uppipe. Some people never get a CEL, some people do.

Is this mod for the P0420 CEL? If not..what is the resistor mod for Cat inefficiency codes?

thanks for the link..i have been in contact with Tom and most likely going to order one . But really.. for the fellow I-clubbers and do it yourselfers...im sure someone out there has the exact wiring diagram, parts, etc for this fix that all of us can share.
