100% atmo BOVs... bad for hot corners
So I put this Vee Port II BOV on my car and, yeah I know how it works and all that and what's giong on w/ the MAF and all that. Essentially, the car is bogging when I let off the gas. If I'm slowing down in a strainght line, and I don't mind the rich effects, who cares, right? But I've found that when I am going into a corner too hot, boosting decently, and I squeeze off the gas a bit, the BOV dumps, the car bogs and the weight of the car gets thrown. That's when I crap in my pants.
Running 17psi with a worn stock BOV is not what I want to do. What can I replace with?
Do the 50/50 BOVs suffer this problem? Like the GFB?
What are the serious road racers running? (I know you serious auto-x'ers prolly cant run anything other than the stock BOV).
