02 to 03 radiator difference

did anyone notice the difference in the 02 and 03 wrx radiator. the 03 has a radiator cap on the radiator. i wonder why it has two of them.

My guess would be it's easier to fill. If you've ever filled one(02) then you know it can be a pain in the **** to get it completely full.

true. this sucks for radiator manufacturers that have to make new ones.

Hey Nick... does the '03 you got a chance to check out happen to be mine?? LOL

Dude... I drove to the Life Plaza meet last night. Damn! That was LOUD!!! Anyway, I don't know why I'm posting this since I could just call you. ANyway, I'll call you later to tell you that I got my muffler all hooked up. Borrowed my neighbors tools.

yup it was your car robert. there are alot of differences in the 02 and 03. i didn't think it has so many.

i have an '03 WRX and have yet to see a list of changes from '02. can someone help me out or tell me where to look? Thanks

Not all '03 's have the radiator cap on the radiator, mine does not.

Thats weird.. Maybe only the later model 03s hae the cap on it. Do all 03s have the radiator cap area(the one not of the radiator) painted silver?

The radiators are made my Calsonic I think.

If you are talking the one by the turbo mine is silver. '02's I think were black. My '03 was an early production more than likely they changed the design...
