Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

$2000 budget, suggestions? ;)

From what I've seen, the VF34 package that gruppe-s has, seems to be a pretty good price. If they aren't going to have that deal $1199 w/ free shipping much longer, I might go ahead and get it. There going in the $900s on ebay it seems like. So you think that's a REALLY good deal, or am I only saving a slight bit of money?

YES. if you are still on the stockers get a new set of tires and even some 17" rims. the car will handle so much better. if you just want power get all the power mods out of the way, but then your not going to be able to keep that power on the road.

Thanks for the worries about suspension. I already have a good idea of what I'll do with that. I did a lot of autocrossing and suspension tuning with my civic and hardly any engine mods (just intake and exhaust), so suspension and tire stuff is definitely going to happen. This time around I'm doing both and have been trying to save all the money I can so I can go all out
