Flutter-sound BOV for WRX

Does any company make a blow off valve for wrx that instead of making one big crashing sound, makes a fluttering sound? I heard this type of BOV in a video and wondered whether it's made for subarus.

teh stock one does at low boost

if you tighten down an adjustable blow off valve that will do it but im sure its not good for it

maybe you heard anti lag

thats is extremely bad for the car, yeah it is called anti lag. They basicaly re-pressure the turbo to create that sound. Thats what gives the flutter. NO BOV DOES IT!

that flutter sound is pressure bouncing back and forth from the turbo to the bov. very bad for the turbo because that flutter constantly hits the fins with pressure.

drifters will do this because they are constantly on and off the gas. and by tightening their bov, they don't release boost and not waste time building up boost again.

Hey no need for name calling...sheesh!

I heard it on a Silvia (yes!) I think it was an S13. From one of the latest OPTION videos, a D1 drifter was sliding his car around and I thought that flutter sounded tight.

So is it certain that no BOV, except that old HKS version, makes this sound without adverse affects on the turbo?

Thanks for the responses!
