What Happens to MY ECU when the Battery is disconnected!!!

Hi all, I could use some help here.
I recently had my 2002 WRX in the collision center for some front end body work (no big story here). Any way they had to remove a ton of stuff, based on the price I paid. I suspect the battery was disconnected to do the work.
So my question is, do I need to do anything in regards to the ECU? Should I expect some changes in how the vehicle runs?

www.obdII.com or .org i dont remember. Any way, look for "Driving Cycle". Esentially your ECU looses all emission readings, so until it verifies your CAT, O2 and HO2 senosores work your car will run very rich.
