utec help
instaled utec stg 2 but had a mbc before, put back to stock and installed bleeder(abc)...Problem is narrowed down to the following!
Problem is boost comes on fast(actually kinda good but doesn't feel that strong(gauge related) and goes to 18+, never actually hitting 20! The bleed has no effect on this even turned full to the negative?
1.Boost Gauge reading incorrect---hooked up from T in BOV tip line(right?)
2.Bleeder/stock boost set up incorrect----Done as diagram in utec manual (don't ask read it at least 3 times)
3.Need to make map adjustments for the boost(this utec worked perfect on my buddies car with same modifications(1st12ish,2nd13ish,3rd15.5ish, 4th 16.5)
Car Mods: 3" turboback(Hks catback,strmung race and downpipe,helix uppipe)
I even took off my aem cold air intake and put back on the stock box-resonator to see if that was the problem?

update
Hope to work through this before I need help...
I disconnected my utec and get lower boost, not stock due to my other mods but definately safe levels...So I determine that the computer is my problem and need to adjust the boost levels within the stg 2 map to persevere?
Guidence?

I suppose this is a lil late but one thing is a possibilty. Could the BOV be dumping pressure before you reach your target boost?

see what version u have on the utec then goto the web site and make sure u have the current version with the NEW maps they have, and get the parameters...... i didnt do that when i got my stg 4 map and well my turbo spiked at like 26 or so (boost gauge goes to 20 but it hit -30 vac) i had the wrong version of software...
