Question fuel cut defender

i was thinking of putting a turboXS fuel cut defender on my WRX, but i dont know how safe is it to boost 19psi on a stock turbo, what would you guys recomend me to do, put the fuel cut by it self or put something else in combination with the fuel cut to be safe.

None of the above. 19 psi is about 2.5 too much for a stock turbo.

you don't want to run more than ~15psi on the stock ECU. If you run aftermarket boost control, you should also be very careful of part throttle full boost.

BTW, you can run the stock turbo at 19psi in the midrange just fine if you tune it and run some higher octane gas.
