not sure really where to post this, but im trying to help my friend out....he has a 2002 Subaru WRX, and he's looking to get a fuel management system, solely because he thinks he can crank the boost higher. mods are listed below, but he went to the track once, and cranked the boost too high, and the car wasnt functiong properly. so if he has a fuel management system, can he crank the boost higher??? he is already about 14psi?
Intake
Magnaflow muffler
blow off valve
manual boost controller
autometer gauges
Thanks,
Matt

Max the stock turbo can sustain is roughly 15-16psi. Anymore and your friend is just blowing hot air. The turbo is too small to boost any higher efficiently. Also the stock computer will cut fuel at 17psi.
Have your friend tune 4th gear for 15psi and go about his way. That is plenty for the stock turbo and with a turbo back exhaust and uppipe, he should be able to be in the consistant mid 13's on the 1/4 mile
