Alright, I have a problem that I has been going on for quite sometime now with my WRX Wagon 02. Well anytime I try to boost at anything above .8 bar around 10 to 12 lbs. I serverly misfires and I get a Check engine light. The check engine light will not go out even after I have reset the ECU several times. I have changed my spark plugs, piggy baked a check engine light elimenator kit from MRT., still nothing has gotten rid of the light or the miss firing. My car is an automatic because I am handicapped, I have an N1 Exhaustm, HKS Downpipe, an Uppipe and Apex-i intake with Samco intake pipe. Can some one please give me some trouble shooting tips or ideas on what I should do to fix my problem. Oh! I did a Dio test and it said I had a Misfire but didn't say which cylinder. Please Help I am desprate for the power I deserve. Thanks

blow off valve? From the sound of it, and just prepping you, the worst case scenario is a blown piston.

 

misfire under load = prblm on the high volt ign - Cracked coil?
