02 wrx turbo XS Utec question

anyone know how I take this off my wagon, I just got the car hand it was on it. And anyone know what this does to my car in terms of performance, I just have an uppipe and catback exhaust. thanks for any suggestions or comments!!!!

I don't know if I am going to mod the car any further than what is already on there so I don't know if I should keep this on or take it off.

I want to know more specs on this and if I take it off, do I need to disconnect the battery first and if it will throw any codes if I unplug it and replug the stock ecu in, any input would be great!

Its a TXS stage 1 unichip for 91 octane. I think its tuned for a k&n filter and catback exhaust for stage 1.
To remove, unplug your neg battery cable, unclip all the white connectors to the txs board and lift the whole thing out. Remove the 4 corner screws that step up the board and separate from the ecu.

If you revert back to stock ecu you will be back to running rich by the factory settings
