This may be a stupid question!
I was looking through another thread and went to this link.

I want to get a little more power out of my engine but I don't really want it to be loud. As a matter of fact I'd like for it to be as quiet as possible.
I know this chart won't reflect just any exhaust mod I do but is is poosible to get any more performance with a quiet exhaust?

Your biggest restrictions on a new age USDM WRX are the 3 factory catalytics. Getting rid of them will net you some 20-30HP and greatly improve driveability.
You can get a uppipe and TurboXS stealthback and keep your stock muffler that way you can stay relatively quiet. Later you can add on a Prodrive Axleback for a added rumble that is not intrusive at all.
