Are you coming from a DSM?

The stock boost for a WRX 2002-2005 is 13.5psi

If you want to throw on an MBC for your bugeye, keep it under 16psi to avoid causing issues. We in Subaru Land highly recommend an engine manegement system however. The most popular is the Cobb AccessPort found here....

Just installing an up pipe, a turboback exhaust, and an EM system will net you considerably more power and quicker spool. Those will gain you somewhere in the area of 30whp depending on what dyno and gas you have access to. If you're the type to just mod it once and leave it alone, this is a great option (Cobb calls it their Stage 2). But that's only scratching the surface on what your car is capable of

Keep searching this site for tons more info.
