Green Clip Under Dash???

I was putting my Blitz Turbo Timer in the other day and everything was fine till me and my buddy put everything back together. I finished up the vacuum line, while he finished the dash work. When we went to start my car, it was miss firing. We checked everything under the dash again and reset my ECU. Still the same thing. Finally he remember that he plugged in a green clip behind the fuse box while he was under there. Sure enough, as soon as we unplugge dit, my car went back to normal. I have no idea what that wire does or anything. Has this happened to anyone else, if so what does that wire do???

Only when they do ECU reflashes or TT install, normally you don't want it connected.

Why would you need it for a turbo timer install?
