Question FCD vs BCC

I've heard the the HKS FCD is preffered on the WRX, but the Greddy BCC is readily available to me through a friend. I would like to know why the FCD is preffered over the BCC and if there are any performance issues.

I've never heard of the FCD being more "preferred" but it is more commonly used.
