ecu or engine management ?

hello,
i run a td06 sti with ecutek and achived 325whp,beyond that the engine detonats.
will i be able to achive 350whp without detonations with a motec or aem engine management systems?
in general, whats better for the good old hp's,ecutek or engine management?

Sounds like a mechanical problem or a **** poor tune.Maybe you are running out of fuel.Get it datalogged.Ecutek tune should easilly support that kind of power. There are people running 500+whp on stock reflashed ECU's.I don't think your problem has to do with the type of engine management your using.
