Cobb ugraded stage 1and2
Cobb ugraded stage 1and2
Just like the title says Cobb has made new maps for stage 1 and 2. Some of the features are: boost at 15.8 +/-, rev limit at 7250, and improved cell defeats. Trey talks about it himself here http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ulti...;f=11;t=000819. On the map page where you go to download a map, there is a new link to more details of the map. The linky for that one is http://www.cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport. Personaly, my stage 2 feels stronger. Especially in 2nd gear. I havn't played with it much cause I just flashed my base map to the new 91 stage 2 before I came to work tonight. I did get boost of 15.8 in second gear, and 16.4 in fourth and fifth gear on the hwy.

Considering how new the accessport is, it's probably version 1.19.
I installed the 1.20 Stage 2 93 oct base map yesterday. I have to say, I'm very impressed. The power delivery is smoother and stronger. Trey Cobb is the man. It's amazing that he could improve on something that was already a very nice generic fuel map.
The new map seems very refined. No choppyness or hesitation during light throttle acceleration. I'm still getting 16+ max pressure in 4th without having to run the HWG version like I was before. I would recommend anyone to try this. According to Trey, you'll get full benefit running the base version. Save the 1.19 version, or what ever version you're running now, just in case the new 1.20 version doesn't work out for you.
