Can AccessPORT 2 be shared between MY02/MY06? (Basic question for savvy ap 2 owner)

Basic question for the savvy COBB ap 2 owner.
Hay guys, this is probably a basic question but in all the information on the COBB access port 2 I cannot find this little gem. I want to get an AP but I don’t want to spend all the money (well to be honest cannot spend all the money on an EM right now) so I came up with this. My brother and myself both own Subaru Impreza (his is an 02 mine is an 06) what I need to know is can we both run the new engine management system as I know you cannot on the version one. Any help would be great!

You can't "share" the version 2 either. The version 1 has different models that only worked with a specific vehicle and year. The version 2 is compatible with all WRX models 02-05 or the 06 WRX.
Either version can only be installed in one car at any given time. Even if you wanted to share, you and your brother wouldn't have capatable APs for your vehicle years. He needs the 02-05 unit (or the 02-03 version 1) and you need the 06 unit.
I recomend you save your money or get a credit card limit increase
