APEXi S-VFC II = better MPGs (on '04 STi)?

I dunno - I guess it's possible to eak out a small improvement with seat-of-the-pants tuning but I would have thought that Subaru would have tuned the car pretty close to ideal for cruise conditions to do well in EPA fuel economy standards but maybe it was a compromise to also meet emissions requirements at the same time. You sure as heck don't want to run too lean during full-throttle while under boost conditions.

I think driving habits can have a greater impact on fuel economy than tuning in many cases. What type of actual calculated gas mileage (miles travelled divided by gallons used) do you get, and what type of driving do you typically do in your car (highway commuting or weekend fun drives)?
