Question Anybody running Cobb reflash that can answer some questions?

Does it affect emissions?

What is driveability like?

What other mods have you done?

Any other thoughts?

Thanks-
Jim

I have Stage2 (and will go back to "STX Legal" Access ECU using AccessPort for autocross this year).

The answer depends if you're talking Stage 1 or Stage 2.

Stage 1 : Should pass smog with flying colors. Drivability is BETTER than stock (no jerkiness, better low end). Gas Mileage is unchanged. I ran this for a short while with uppipe and Catback only.

Stage2 : Will fail smog visual, but MIGHT pass tailpipe (depending how hot you get the remaining cat). I am running this with uppipe and catless downpipe, but with the stock 3rd cat installed (don't like the stink of totally catless, plus try to be at least slightly environmentally responsible with the daily driver ). Even more power/torque . It appears to have SLIGHTLY hurt my around-town mileage, but only by about 1 MPG tops. Car still has excellent drivability.

My thoughts : works great, and should be even better once AccessPort comes out.

It will be the best $400 you spend on your car.

It's 550 for both the access ECU and Access Port.

I am running the stage 1 with no other modifications. Drivability is improved, the gas milage stayed the same, the bottom end lag is gone. It was definately money well spent. Cobb says that the stage one does not effect emissions.

My gas mileage decreased when I did COBB stage 1.

It's my fault though..foot to the floor is a MUCH more common occurence these days
