Yes and yes.

The catless DP will eventually cause a CEL. Mine ran for about 3 weeks before i got the CEL.

The fix is easy. You can purchase the resistor fix for like 10 bucks.

maybe try searching for "resistor fix" or when you order the DP, just ask the place where you buy it, they will most likely have the fix in stock.
