P0055 w/ ProDrive Power Pack Stage 2

My car is a 02 WRX Wagon, AT

Immediately after I installed the cat-less center section I got a Check Engine light. The code is P0055.

Does anyone have the definition of this code.

I was told that this kit would not cause any codes.

In fact the rear most 02 sensor is before the cat that was removed.

Does not make sense. The only thing I can think of is that the removal of the last cat will decrease the temperature in that part of the echaust. I am just guessing

I have a CarChip that can pull the code number and then reset it. But, it will come back about every other restart 15 seconds after a restart.

Anyone with any advice out there?

Otherwise, I love the new exhaust note and the extra boost/power. Boosting at .96 bar so far. Only traveled about 50 miles so far though.

Anyone, Anyone....

No worries....

I had a extra hand helping me install the center section. During the bracket de-install he un-plugged the 02 Sensor connector and forgot to tell me and or plug it back in. The code was also mis-read by me Car Chip. I found a SW fix for that the code should have been P0037. B1S2 02 sensor fault which makes perfect sense as it was indeed un-plugged.

Anyway, Sun. night I put the car on the lift at work and found the connector problem, plugged it back in and 3 restarts later, no more check engine light. Woohoo.

The car is now boosting at .96 Bar, 14.12 PSI!!
Pulls harder and earlier throughout the rev band. Love the exhaust not too.

Take care....

Not sure...

W/ 2 cats in the system still I think there is a chance though.

I still have the stock up-pipe and down pipe.

I have a contact that can run it here in Cali. under the radar. Just haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Stay tuned.
