Accessport issue (fuel cut?)

im writing this for a buddy of mine so i dont know the full story. he has an sti with a downpipe with no cat and he recently slapped on an access port. the issue is that at high speeds his fuel line cuts out. or some kind of error pops up. at speed about 120. if someone can shed some knowledge on that would be great. im guessin there isnt enough back pressure of some sort but i am not clear as of why fuel would start fillin

It sounds like the car is overboosting in the higher gears where there is more load. This can be a limitation of the stock boost control system, the tune, or even the stock wastegate. 95% of the time, this issue can be taken care of with a good tune.

Thanks

am i reading this right? i assume this is not on the track. . .

Also, just like ED says, a good tune will take care of that. . .

that or hes doing it without enough gas in the tank, at heavy load a fuel pump sucks more fuel than the tank can reliably provide.

which is pretty funny actually. usually happens in the twisties
