I doubt the environmental conditions need any modifications - yeah you care about the effects of humidity/pressure/temperature but if you work out the math for all with the dissimilar materials involved, from an engineering perspective the difference is below tolerance thresholds
I'm not talking about a hermetically sealed environment .

The main goal for us was to keep the engine assembly away from the general work and fabrication area to keep any metal particles away from the bearing surfaces. Keeping the temperature consistent is also important for proper clearance measurements. For these reasons we devoted a room for assembly that is far away from the fab area and has two well sealed doors separating it from the main shop. This room is technically part of the back office, so it shares the HVAC with that office as well.

Thanks

Sorry Yat! Brendan has been yelling at me to respond to you for a while, but I seem to get side tracked every time I sit down to the computer. I haven't had any spare time to mess with your hydra over the last couple weeks, but I should be able to give it some time tomorrow. I'll shoot you a PM or e-mail with an update then.

Thanks for the patience!

Now back to my engine assembly dungeon!
