Engine Building Services at DBTuned.

When it comes time to replace, rebuild, or strengthen your Subaru's engine, DBTuned offers many options to chose from; OEM stock to stroker kits are all easily & quickly performed.

We maintain a stock of most performance engine parts, such as:
*Wiseco Pistons
*ACL Bearings (Yes, we actually have these very hard to get bearings!)
*Supertech valves

To help minimize your vehicle's down time, most engine rebuilds can be done in one week; bring your car in Monday morning...drive away Friday afternoon.

Presently, we are averaging 1.5 engine builds every week.

Here's an example of a current engine build that we're doing for a customer.

How do you feel about the JDM 207? Ever put one in a customers car?

Depending on set up, yes, machining is factored into the timeline.
We usually have three EJ257 blocks cleaned, inspected, machined, and ready for assembly at any time.

Most of the time, we'll have a long block built up ready to go before the customers car arrives. All head work is completed, valve lash set, etc.
Obviously, some projects will take longer. In these cases, we will keep the wait to an absolute minimum.

Torque wrenches are essential for any engine job.

The many various seals, o-rings, and gaskets that are used assembling a Subaru engine.

If your motor has a rod knock, you'll get a new oil pan and oil cooler. Also pictured is a heavy duty oil pump pick up tube.
