I am putting a turbo kit on my 1999 EJ22 non-turbo motor. This is a custom kit, capable of about 12psi, but I would probably run it under 10psi. What kind of engine management do I need. I am not into spending $1000 for management, so I was wondering if just an Apexi S-AFC would do the trick, without risking damage to my engine. I have heard from some people that it will run on the stock computer, is this right. How much boost can my stock engine handle without risking damage to compression, valves, etc. Thanks for all of the help!
