Turbo EJ22 Engine Managemnet?
I am thinking about putting a turbo on my EJ22, a TO4E. I would not run this real hard, probably 5-7 lbs. boost, even though it is capable of much more. My question is, what is the best engine management for this application. I don't wan't to spend a $1000 on engine management, so I was thinking of an Apexi S-AFC. Would this work, or would I still be risking messing up my motor?

You're always risking messing up your motor.
Sure that'd work. But its not "best". What will you use to control boost? MBC? You also will not be able to improve over stock timing that's mean for the stock setup with the S-AFC.
