So, who wins in a stoplight drag race? (given equal drivers)

I 'raced' one recently and messed up the launch---well, basically I wouldn't have even called it a 'launch'. I let the clutch out at 2k. Whoops! I got smoked, to say the least.

 

THe Infinity is "infinitely" better looking than the WRX. As far as stop light racing...kind of a "whatever" to me. I suppose you could look up the 0-60 times. The G35 is likely going to be easier to launch given that it is NA and probably has a fatter torque curve, so if the WRX is going to win a drag race, it would have to be a decent driver willing to smoke his clutch for a good drag launch.

 

well first of all its infiniti and i would say the g35 is pretty darn fast.. my brother has one and the first time i drove it i peeled out, becuase of how soft the peddle is and the power.. even though my bro has the auto, its still pretty darn fast i have a vishnu stg 2 and i think the g pulls harder at times then the wrx

the wrx would win with a good driver, im pretty sure. My friend said he beat one in his 1.8t jetta, and his car cant beat a stock wrx so im awsuming the wrx would beat one.

 

Stock for stock the wrx will win off the line but the g35 will catch up after about 40 mph. But who really wants to go much faster on the street.
