Of course i wasen't wearing mine because i forgot or what ever... On top of that, he tickets me for not having my front liscense on.... Almost got a recon ticket just for having an exhaust, but he let me slide on that(woop dee fu**in doo)...

I thought cops were supposed to protect and serve? Not harass and be asses. We work so hard to spend money on the thing we love most. Our cars. Then these guys come along and make us pay fines for looking so good. And maybe also looking too fast even though we weren't speeding. On Oahu its real bad with the recon thing. Big island is almost there with laws aimed at us guyz. Too bad for us. Got over 5000 ice users here and they pull us over for exhaust. I can see the seat belt thing, but everything else just perplexes me. Whyyyyyyyy?????
The "Click it or ticket" is federally funded. So the govt. supplies x amount of money and tells the department "Here's some OT, go enforce this particular law." Unfortunately we can't divert the money to drug enforcement and such, thats just the nature of the beast.
I know it sucks, but I believe it's better to pay a fine and be alive then getting into an accident and possibly risk serious injury or death because you forgot to buckle up. I can say from seeing some serious accidents during work that seatbelts definetly help. I'm sorry that you guys got ticketed though.

and do NOT use profanity in your subject line (and be considerate elsewhere), ... unless you want your account locked of course. Consider this your warning before you get it from a moderator.

I went to some crazy accidents at work in Germany. I only thing that keep those people alive was their seatbelts.

I've gotten pulled over specifically for not having a front license (in my previous car). I was pretty shocked cuz I had used my signal at a right turn, and was driving UNDER the speed limit. Sucks but what can you do...
