I hate to agree with dahveed here, but.....

It's a serious ****ing problem when you have 17 year old kids driving a 300hp car that their mommy & daddy bought them and driving it like a total ***.

In case you didn't get the memo, this is how people get killed. And not just the dumb kids, but innocent drivers who just hapen to be on the same road.

If everything I read is true, this kid should lose his license until he's at least 21.

 

well you know what if his perants could aford to get him a sti he could have gotten a HUMMER and i personally would like to see him hurt himself being stupied then killing me .... granted id like nothing less than for no one to ever get hurt....

I am 17, have a WRX that i paid for half of... parents said that if i got an avg of a 3.5 from freshmen to junior year they would split the cost with me. I at first wanted to get a gm6, but the WRX came out and i worked my rear off to get it. I got a used WRX for 21,000 (private seller) and came with P1's STI grill and alot of factoy options like security and carbon fiber shift **** and e brake handle...

The only ticket that i have is off my record due to traffic school... and that ticket was 45 in a 35...

All that i am saying is that there are alot of younger drivers that own a WRX or likewise that worked to get it and I can say that i am not spoiled becuase before i got my WRX i had to drive my moms 2000 VW Bug 5 speed (kinda fun ) but still a VW bug.

And there are many that can talk on my part that i am a decent driver no stupid things like 130 on the highway or other crazy stunts, I live in Pt. Reyes and i drive the roads that Bushido takes all of us on drives everyday and to say that the only accident or crash that has happend was i got rearended while i was completely stopped. And i have to drive Highway 1 to school everyday is a miracle that i am not dead with the setup i have (alot more than just the p1's and Grill) becuase it is set up for spirited driving...

All i am saying is that there are alot of youngn's that drive STI's (SlickmisterN) and some others that i have seen and drive responsibly and worked for our Subies....

But still 130 on the highway...common you coulda killed someone if not your self...

 

I agree with some of what you guys are saying, but in reality, kids that are 16 are stupid no matter what car they drive, and I have seen them drive Pintos 100+... But I have no problem with kids that age driving STis, Evos, Ferraris, etc... When I was 16 I had an ITR... I'm just not the jealous type...
