dashiet, do you know what "provisional license" means?
anyways, heres my story
everything that i said was back when i didnt have my license. i didnt have my car, and i didnt even know how to drive stick. i ranted about stuff, when i didnt even know what i was talking about. im sorry for all the things ive said, but since then ive had respect for everybody, and what they have do to their cars.
since then, i have not said anything negative to anyone. the first uckk meet i went to, i was hoping to meet you dahveed, because i wanted you to see the real me, not the one that said all that stuff.
about 130 on the freeway....another subie owner wanted me keep up with him. we didnt go 130 all the way, 130 was probably the top speed i hit, and i know that wasnt smart. but i know everybody has once gone past the 100 mark.
im not asking you to forgive me, but im just asking to drop what was in the past.

I think it's funny how many people blast this poor kid.
He didn't do anything any other 17 year old in his situation wouldn't do.
If you're parents where loaded and offered you $30k to spend on a car would you turn it down and say...nah dad I think I should drive an 86 taurus? Hell no. He's just lucky and his folks are well off.
And believe me I know where I'm coming from. I went to a private school. I had friends with pimped out old cars like a 55 chevy..shoot my foster brother had a pimped out 55 chevy. We had huge trucks. BMW's. Mercedes. Old mustangs. Etc. Nice freakin cars. everyone had cars. But i was adopted and didn't get ****. I didn't get my damn drivers lisense til I was damn near 20. So I have as much a right as any to get pissed at yell at him.
Only thing he did was drive stupid. Everyone drives stupid every now and again. Some more than others. Shoot I hit 125mph as soon as my car was broke in just to know it could do it. I turned it down soon after. But I've broke 100 several times. Shoot my old civic I drove to SoCal and my average speed for a 2 hour section was almost 100. I was crusing at 125 for like 10 minutes. Everyone is stupid.
He knows he was stupid. He's not gonna be able to drive for long if he keeps it up and he knows it. etc. etc.
The stupid party on this part is more the parents than the child. The parents bought him a 300hp vehicle. His parents let him get his lisense...etc...etc. In my opinion every kid should have a decent safe vehicle if their folks can afford it. But they should also be very instructed on how to drive. My foster brother with the 55 chevy...grew up on race tracks. The kid can flat out drive. He also never ever speeds. I've been driving vehicles of some kind or another since I was too small to hit the pedals. I can drive...least that's what I'm told.
But bottom line is for the most part. Kids in america think it's their right to drive. So the expect a car. Weathy kids get nice cars. Since the governement does a ****ty job of it...it's the parents job to properly instruct their child. Defensive driving. Emergency driving. Safe speeds...etc. Teach that child that their car can and will kill someone maybe them maybe not at any given time. Could be driving 30mph and kill someone.
We need more schools. We need more accesible performance driving schools.
And we damn sure need harder driving tests...and written. No translaters either. You can't read the test...you can't ****ing drive. They need to include parking tests. Free merging and lane changing tests. And freaking ban cell phone use while driving. Most people can't talk and **** at the same time let alone talk and drive with one hand. Damn.
