It's a serious ****ing problem when you have 17 year old kids driving a 300hp car that their mommy & daddy bought them and driving it like a total ***.
In case you didn't get the memo, this is how people get killed. And not just the dumb kids, but innocent drivers who just hapen to be on the same road.
If everything I read is true, this kid should lose his license until he's at least 21.

I agree with some of what you guys are saying, but in reality, kids that are 16 are stupid no matter what car they drive, and I have seen them drive Pintos 100+... But I have no problem with kids that age driving STis, Evos, Ferraris, etc... When I was 16 I had an ITR... I'm just not the jealous type...

edgar,
I'll break it down for all of you... (of course there are exceptions)
16 year olds = stupid
16 year olds = no responsibility (especially for their actions)
16 year olds + anything that moves = problematic
16 year olds + anything that's fast and moves = death or close to it

yeah the immaturity is glaring...
I don't think they will say these things in a few years.
you don't have to be over 30 to be responsible...fock

yes i will admit that 98% of the time you give a 16-17 yr old a fast car including something like a ITR and they will put it in the ditch within 2 months..i have had a close friend perish from this type of thing so i am no stranger to it...
And i do know that he will definetely not be driving his STI for a while, because if the Judge doesn't suspend your license then, his parents will.
Ticket for speeding over 65= 1 pt
over 100 mph, (reckless driving) = 2 pts
there he already lost his license
and he will probably get another 2 pts for street racing...
i wish him luck.... but this is what you get for being careless

Just to state what I think about this particular case:
I hope he loses his license until he's 21. Someone that stupid doesn't deserve to drive on the same streets that family does. Too many deaths occur because of stunts like this. Though I'm not a saint (had my fair share of street races) they were done only when it was myself and the other driver at risk, both of us knowing the consequences. To do something like that it one thing, as long as it is you alone in the car and when there are no other innocent bystanders who could get hurt.

heres my opinion since it TOTALLY matter:
Buy the kid a sports car, then send him to driving school!!!!
and give him lots of track days
if ur gonna spoil him then atleast this way he can have a great time and get some real experience!
