Cupping tires

Cupping tires
I have about 10K on my 04 STi and I have noticed an increase in tire drone. I've felt all four tires and noticed a fair amount of cupping. I've followed the reccomended interval for tire rotation, so why the uneven wear? Is this a problem with all WRXs/STis? I've had this problem on my previous cars which had aftermarket suspension, but my STi is completely stock, why would it start to cup before 10K? Any advice or reccomendations?

I don't really know, so I don't know why I'm responding 
But my guess is that tire pressure and how you've driven on them would matter quite a bit.
