i have been dumping my clutch and beating the hell out of my car for 23,xxx miles, and the tranny has been holding up just fine, i think its more the way people drive it then it having a "weak" tranny,

Thats exacty what I have been doing and saying and at 25,000 the tranny broke ON THE DYNO.

Its just a matter of time.

FWIW, I went to my dealer about a month ago to (couldnt find female dog pic) about tranny noise, shudder, etc. and they told me there will be a fix in 2 months, and they'll call me in. They took my VIN and documented stuff. When diagnosed by a tech he told me it could be one of the bearings in the tranny. I'm hoping to get at least new clutch and pressure plate for the shudder.
btw, i have 42k mi. and i never had these M/T prob's with 6 other cars before.
