wrx tranny under warranty?
I dont recall what thread it was, But I remember someone saying that subaru would change your clutch and or tranny under warrranty becasue of a subaru "TSB" whats the story with that? And, will they do it on a not stock car? My dealership is sorta filled with a bunch of dicks any advice? Thanks
Modded they'll do nothing probably, but stock you ***** to the service manager and he'll give you a new clutch, flywheel and maybe a throwout bearring. If you dealership is full of jackasses don't waste your time find another one.
My suggestion is to change as much as you can back to stock. Then ask around to find the friendliest dealership in your area. I have heard some horror stories about dealerships not fixing trannys under warranty. No matter what the problem is or how the problem occured, they seem to blame it all on "hard driving." I need to take my car in too, and have them look at the tranny. I've asked around and all the people that I have talked to suggested what I said above. Hope this helps.
