Has anyone used the royal purple 75w90 gear oil. I have hear good stuff on the website but i want to hear it from another wrx owner

Car Info: lowered blk04 with no motor

my second gear went out i told the guy at the subaru dealership the first thing he asked was if i used Synthetic gear oil. he said its not good for the tranny
