wierd clutch feel

wierd clutch feel
2006 wrx 10k miles.
prob: Clutch feels like its crunchy.. happend right after i let my friend test drive.
my meaning of crunchy: When i step on the clutch to change gears, it feels as if there are 10 chambers i have to step through. i know it may sound confusing but it feels like im stepping on crackers.
Before the problem occured, the clutch felt smooth and strong.
Today: I drove it and the crunchyness was getting better (softer) but its still there. After about 20 mins of driving the clutch feels normal like before.
Any ideas?
Im hoping its just air in my clutch fluid but i certainly dont know.
