what Kind of clutch/Flywheel.....
Hello,
I have a 2003 subaru wrx sedan. I am putting a VF-34 turbo kit in soon, and I was wondering what I need for a clutch and other accessories "transmissions wise" This is still going to be my kinda daily driving car, I want the clutch/flywheel to last as long as it can, and I will only be doing drags here and there. What do I need. I have heard I only need a stage 2 and I really don't need a flywheel. Is this true? What else do I need to upgrade in my transmission area, a new drivetrain, u-joints? ect? Also will this throw a CEL code? I am new in the transmission area so any advise will help! thanks

I would recommend another stock clutch assembly (throw-out bearing, pressure plate, disc).
A new stock clutch will easily hold your new power, while still being 'gentle' on your drivetrain. IIRC aftermarket clutches like Exedy or ACT increase clamping force by 30-40%.
If you want your new clutch to last you need to do something with the flywheel -- Either get a new light flywheel or simply have your current one resurfaced.

I just got in an ACT clutch and I wanted to know before having that put on do I need to get a light weight Flywheel? I have a COBB Light weight pulley and I had heard it was bad to have a light weight pulley with a light weight Flywheel. Is this true and why?
