Uh oh What's wrong with my transmission?
Hey guys,
So here is what is going on with my transmission. Second gear is completely blown. I put the car into second and all it does is rev it does nothing won't move. The rest of the gears are hard as hell to get into gear and they even do some grinding when putting them in gear. Also when driving it sounds like there is a rattling noise in my tranmission as if there was glass in it or something. What's wrong with it?

And well my friend drove the car with me in it the other night and tried dumping the clutch. He revved to about 5k RPM's and just dumped it. Go to the dealer and have them fix it. You tranny is completely F*****! The rattling around noise that you hear are probably teeth from the gear that broke off and are moving around in the case. Since its under warranty then you may have a shot at them fixing it, but dont get your hopes up. Just complain until they fix it. A rebuilt shouldnt cost more than $2500. Also, if you have any mods on your car take them off before you go to the dealer. Good luck, and btw make your friend pay for part of it.
