Transmission with 3.9 final drive for my 98 OBS
Hi guys,
the tranny shop wants $1200 to replace 2nd gear and related synchro.
Searching car-parts.com shows a couple trannies in IL that might fit my car. I need to know if any of the following vague descriptions might have the 3.9 final drive I need:
1996 Transmission - T-29682
1996 Legacy Outback 2.2L
1998 Legacy (excluding GT or Outback) - does this mean a 2.2L?
Any ideas?

The 2002 Impreza TS waggon has a 3.90 final
