Talking Tranny and Gear Oil Change

After many hours of research on forums and advice from friends, I've decided to give my car the love it needs. All kinds of lube goodness right there. I'd also like to say thanks to Paul at FW Motorsports as he always have what I need (Motul).

Wow, talk about night and day! I thought RP was good- had a small grind shifting into 3rd but after changing to Motul 300 that small grind is gone, what a big difference.

Dealership said they only had it in their 55 gallon drum. I didn't want to come back with a gallon jug. The next couple of days I talked to Paul at FW Moto and he had it at his shop. Again, I've researched on other forums, advice from friends, and said it's great stuff. I like it so far. I've also read about the Subaru Extra -S and a lot of others say it's good stuff as well.

Are you joking me??? Nobody has said Paul at FW carries Motul300, so I go out and buy $150 worth of Amsoil SevereGear for my transmission. Ugh. He's like 2 miles from my house too.

How much was it, and how much was the RotellaT6? I'm thinking of trying that for my next oil change in my Legacy GT

I just asked Paul if he carried it and said yes. He had to order it and got it in a couple of days. He said it was about $24/qt but sold it at $20/qt. I also bought some exhaust gaskets from him as well. Paul was a big help.

The RT6 I bought from Wal-Mart off Pleasant Grove. I think it was about $26 for the gallon and then bought the 1qt bottle for around $6/7?
