Too much clutch??

Hey whats up everyone? My set up consists of: basically a vishnu stage 2 ecutec tunned sti tmic.etc. pushing about 290-295 to the wheel dyno jet..... And my question is, is a spec stage 2 clutch ok for this set up my stock clutch needs to be changed =(....... And I will be using this clutch for mostly street use... agressive feels a plus =) but not too aggressive hahahaha, but I jus heard that some people when running a real good clutch and there car dosent have the power they can blow gears.... so need input! thanx =)

I'd recommend a street type clutch... not puck. Something with a full face like the Spec stage 1 or maybe even 2.

But "race" style clutches 3-6 puck are extremely grabby and are harder on your transmission. Because the harder that your clutch grabs (more force) then more force it is putting on your main shaft at once. Also daily drivability on a puck "racing" clutch is hard if you are doing a whole lot of stop and go. I would say a single disk clutch, pressure plate, and through out bearing would be the setup you are thinking of. I believe ACT is a very well known company that has good products.
