Has anyone switched to Synthetic oil for their manual transmission yet? If so, how does it feel? any smoother? and which one did you use? I am leaning towards the Red Line MTL, is that the correct one to use?

 

Synthetic gear oil as in Redline's 75W90NS is the one to use and yes you will feel a positive difference in both smoothness and quicker shifting. I've written several threads about synthetic oil and recommended Mobil 1 motor oil and gear oil, however; for the warm weather, I changed the motor oil and front and rear diff to Royal Purple, so far I like it better than Mobil 1.
