Just a couple of pics of my 97L with her new short shifter. Enjoy.

It feels nice, and it did what it said it would. That is is really shortend the length of the shift. So far I'm really happy with it. Very short, lots of feel to every shift.
It is an ebay jobbie, so it wasn't that expensive. Which is nice.
The other thing that it didn't do is lower the height of the shift ****, in fact I think it is about a cm higher. Which I also like.

New shifter put in after a really hard thump with a hammer. It took a lot of nerve to hit it that hard. Thanks everyone for the "Hit it HARDER!!!" advice.



Just like the Cobb shifter this one makes the arm rub against the metal shifter frame. I'll have to file it down, project for tomorrow I think.
