Shifting Problems on my bugeye

So just like the title says I have some problems shifting. The problem is in first gear, when starting off and shifting into first sometimes it sticks really bad and it wont let me put it into gear. Any thoughts? I was interested in possibly getting a short shifter anyways would the new bushing with one of those kits provide smoother shifting?

Bushing will not getting you smoother shifting, but more precise shifting! Try changing out the fluid, our bugeye tranny is always like that. It got smoother after I changed to Motul Gear300. Some of the members like the Uncle Scotty cocktail which contains 1 Pennzoil Synchromesh Quart, 2 Castrol Hypoy C 80w90, 1 Redline Lightweight Shockproof. You can also get a package from GrimmSpeed here: http://www.grimmspeed.com/catalog/pr...83ftoopqg3eft7

Hope it helps!
