what mods do you have and what do you plan on doing?

I've got an EXEDY organic stage 1 and an ACT streetlite flywheel. You're more than welcome to take it for a spin.

it's honestly preference. Some like to really be able to feel it and like the stiffer peddle. Those people like the ACT clutches. Some like it to still feel somewhat close to stock and be driveable in traffic...folks like me that have had knee surgery and drive a LOT (95k on an 04). Those folks like EXEDY.

My clutch feel very very much like a stock clutch exept it grabs a lot harder and with the flywheel thing smove a bit quicker.

So from me...I say exedy.

Exedy with a street lite is a great combo on a WRX 5sp as it's not too grabby so as to hurt the transmission anymore than your power levels already do

I'm running an ACT street clutch with a stock flywheel. I would have got a lw flywheel but I have a lw crank pulley and I heard its not good to use both. I like my setup pretty well, the clutch grabs nice and for some reason isn't as stiff as most other ACT's I've driven. I've been skateboarding 10yrs but don't really have any knee problems, but since you said your knees aren't the best I'd go with a lighter clutch.

I got my stuff from through a buddy of mine. I'd say go through GST. Mike will do you right and if you do the install there I'm sure they'll work with you.

I'd expect to pay about $725 or so for my combo....but don't hold me to that.

I'm in santa cruz. I'm in san jose, gilroy and other surrounding areas quite a bit. I'll be out that way this weekend.

Power wise I've got nothing on you but I plan to go that route and I'm told my set up will hold what I want....275whp ish. I'm looking at doing an 18g with supporting myself. Besides the fact my car is running odd as usual. But my tranny is solid. so like I said....drop me a pm I'll get you my number. call if you're in the area or if we'll be in the san jose area the same time.

I always recommend the stock clutch for the wrx, its not uncommon for a stock wrx to break a gear. And the likelyhood is only increased with upped horsepower and stronger clutch. Theres been a few times where I goofed shifting and a stronger clutch would have ruined the tranny.
