Rear diffferentials?

i was wondering what years/models use a limited slip differential, i am looking at using a wrx rear diff in a project.

anyone know if any other subarus use LSD in the rear??? that would be able to handle like 130hp, and a good beating?

Didn't the GC 2.5RS have LSD as an option, which later became standard? Forgot where I read that.

i think '99 it was optional and '00-01 it was standard...

what kind of car are you trying to put this into? if it's an RS/I then you need to match the final gears...if it's a WRX/STi then it has an LSD already and there really isn't a need to be upgraded...now i believe a WRX LSD from the same year RS/I can be swapped in if you can get one...so you could put a WRX LSD into your car if you wanted to or there are like 3 companies that make rear LSDs (torsen type i believe)

its actually for a project. its gonna go into a golf cart. with a cbr 929 motor, needs to be able to handle like 130 hp. and take a beating.

anything older??? that i might be able to find in a scrap yard or something???
